Remember my Editors Letter with title
"Philosophical reasoning of 2000 years is killing our Earth" -
relating to my book "PLADESNIEKANT", regarded as number one for
"relevance" of all Letters written by René Delavy?
This small book, not discussed so far by
the feuilletons, is in a way my philosophical testament of all the themes
published in books or in Editors letter. It summarizes again "What
today's reality is - and what it will be in the near future". The human
mankind lives in a reality that is not understood in its complexity, because
our systems have created a chaos in politics, science, culture, environment
and daily thinking. Therefore, worldwide developments can no longer be reasonably
interpreted and taken for real by anyone, because all people - the powerful
and the weak, the rich and the poor, the healthy and the sick, are
preoccupied surviving in a high-superficial money-world. In fact, we all are
passing through our daily boulevardesk life in form of a funny serial of
fairy-tales and dreams, taken for real and dictated by superficial thoughts.
All this generates a sort of Hollywoodian life where "the real"
fictions just the contrary of what we think it is.
At the same time, we all believe that the
daily life - with its multitude of news all around the globe, must reflect
our true reality. But the evident forces on Earth are "hidden" for
most people in their awareness because all mechanics are dictated by a chaos
of decision-making and wrong maxims. Today, no scientists or
"philosophers" seem to understand what's happening.
Therefore, let's start analyzing the
situation we live in, start looking on the real "condition humaine"
and you may discover thoughts that, in this quality, never touched your
consciousness. There is in fact a real basis for recognition - but don't ask
for arguments or truths we have learnt at school or universities. Exactly
this heritage is the reason why all goes down the drain from now on without
profound changes.
Human beings have always neglected the
basics of human life on Earth. Some fundamental truths about reality were
misunderstood. Look at the simple standards and maxims that should have
prevailed in philosophy and science, as a basis for our political, cultural
and natural life - since more than 2000 years:
- Humans cannot live without sufficient
energy stuff and resources, becoming soon priceless
- Humans (and the planet) cannot live
without breathable air and drinkable water
- Humans stand before an energy-machinery,
producing climate collapses
- Humans science have created facts that
all will end up in immense catastrophes
- Humans have built gigantic towers of
debts that risk to crash stock exchanges and banks
- Humans worship sports and other
superficialities, dictating our unrealistic daily living
- Humans shredder daily news of no
importance and are reading dull literature
- Humans believe in eternal growth,
destructing eventually the natural living on Earth
- Humans strive for stupid economic
theories like neo-liberalism, disadvantaging the poor
- Humans live with low maxims for ethics
and morals, particularly true for "powerful" brains
- Humans accept often to be governed by the
most stupid politicians we could find
- Humans believe in democracies that are in
fact "dictatorships of dull majorities"
- Humans worship like a religion the idea
of profit-maximation in favour of few rich people
- Humans do not centralize social justice
and equal human rights for all nations and people
And therefore, human beings cannot live
without understanding what's going on and what are the real mechanics -
fundamentally seen, because they cannot recognize the origins and results of
actions and reactions. They cannot see the difference between important
matters and peanuts, with regard to complex facts and happenings on Earth.
In fact the explosion of one and only
species, Homo sapiens, lead to an unliveable situation: In the long run and
considering our style of living, only perhaps one or two billion humans could
live happily on this platform, the Earth. For more, we should have two or
more huge planets - especially in the wild circumstances our
"civilisation" is, today, actually living. Let's have a close look
at the most likely scenario, this capital-dictated way of living will
influence the future generations, as long as all our existences are governed
by money, shareholder values, profits out of the most destructing products or
services, unequal wealth, odd consumerism - in short, a craziness in
behaviourism of only one "important" species, running like mad
around in a technical world, in a misunderstood reality never seen before -
and thus slowly destructing our platform of living, the Earth.
We don't know when we will have come to an
end of reasonable thinking and logical behaviour. Therefore, we are, right
now, tumbling down the final orcus of human mankind - and no one will have
known about these facts, when deadly processes will have come to an end… On
the basis of my work and testament "PLADESNIEKANT", my view on the
"condition humaine" shall here be summarized in an Editors letter
not exceeding four pages.
The last decade of human existence may have
begun. Therefore, it's time for seizing a unique chance to see the
world-situation as it is. In few sentences, it should be shown what effects
and theories in philosophical thinking could "save" human mankind
from its own extermination. Sure, it is almost impossible to create an effect
by publishing such articles, but still, we have not many other opportunities,
in view of the urgency for changing crazy mechanics and systems, in a
criminal world, which was running out of order for a very long time.
A. What is and what will be - in Culture,
Science, Economy, Politics and Ecology:
1. Culture
- What is the predominant thinking, the
philosophical ground-basis of human beings? - Answer: The development of our
thinking has been carved in our brains by all philosophers and scientists of
the last 2000 years. They have always put the human matters in the middle of
all interest - and never the natural laws of the planet. We pay the price
today: Growth and using up all energy and resources of the planet in favour
of only a few generations, is the greatest stupidity ever experienced.
Behaviourism of this kind will kill humanity in the next 100 years.
- What doubtful effects do deploy our media
(Newspapers, Radio, TV, Internet)? - Answer: Only very few editors have an
idea of "what reality is - in this World". The colour of news is
most of a sort to please the public. Therefore, perpetrators are always the
heroes: In TV, radio and papers, whereas their victims seem to be far away of
any interest. And thus human crimes explode more and more because such news
of action and fun sell very well. Is the Internet a curse or a gift? Since
greed and stupidity in the World is much more spread than ethics and
intelligence, it will prove to have functioned as one of the nail to the
coffin named "restricted-viewed reality". It's time for a change.
- What is the influence of literature,
theatre, films, arts and culture on our lives? - Answer: You read one novel
and you have read them all. Same goes for theatre, films and the rest of
culture. What is the phenomenon? Simple: The eternal laws of nature on
feeling and behaviourism are eternally recycled and no one sees the
similarities. This will prove to be fatal because what humans needed was a
total sight on the world as it is. Answering the same eternally repeated
questions, as only real interest in the brains of 99 percent of the humans,
may prove to be deadly.
- What should be regarded as science, art,
literature and philosophy making us seize reality in our world? - Answer: Do
science and philosophy really show us "what is"? Error. They show
the beautiful sides of our lives and neglect the rest. Missing alternative
thinking speeds up the express-train in the wall, called "end of all
vanities". What will be left after the crash, produced by ideas of a
crazy consciousness - result of simplifying pragmatic views on the world.
Those will never reflect the chaos of realities as it was and as it is -
taking place outside the restricted sight of Homo sapiens.
2. Science
- What are the relevant effects, the
existent sciences have on our real life and our future? - Answer: Science
must not necessarily be bad or destructing. Who, however, disregards the
natural limits of feasibility on Earth, hits during long periods with huge
clubs on environment and all richness of the planet that makes us live. Who
destroys with the means of science, with technology, with capital, with empty
thoughts the future of all generations to come, is an ignorant whose criminal
acts can, in times to come, never be corrected any more.
- What are the differences between natural
science (Naturwissenschaften) and "the Arts" or mental science
(Geisteswissenschaften)? - Answer: The distinction is marginal. The mental
sciences dictate the frame of reasoning and the natural sciences transform
theories in practical techniques, industry and the wonder of our money-world.
One science influences the other and vice-versa. The "Now-Time" is
dictated by 2000 years of human reasoning and its transformation in a chaotic
capital-world, destructing eventually the history of the humankind.
- How will science develop in the future
and what influence will it have on the real? - Answer: Here comes the law of
slowness to play. Sciences - as they are unfortunately - will lead to
narrow-passes in a "speed" that does not allow us to
"see" the collapses to come in economy, ecology, politics, culture
and all the rest. If you accept this to be our "future" than you
know more about how human brains influence our view on reality, as it truly
is.
- How will human and intelligent sciences
look like in the year 2100? - Answer: Sciences should transform until the
year 2100 in a way, as they should already be active around the year 2000.
The egoistic humans will have learnt that the fundamental laws of nature of
our platform Earth should have dictated for all times whatever we should do or
should have done. Sciences make us die or survive. This will be the last
remembrance, this universe will give us when we are falling down the orcus of
self-destruction.
3. Economy
- How do today's economics look like? -
Answer: Resources and energy stuffs are going out, will become priceless, the
energy-power dictating our climate, due to billions of tons of gas spread in
the air, will end up in dryness and waterflood-storms of never seen might,
the profit-believers will make tumble all gigantesk towers of debts down on
stock exchanges, banks, insurance, old age and health funds. Marx, Orwell and
Huxley were completely right with their predictions about the face of future
economics in the world.
- What instruments (globalisation,
neo-liberalism, privatisation, deregulation etc.) will have an ultimate
effect on the economic climate in the world? - Answer: Globalisation is equal
to enrichment of the rich on cost of the poor. Neo-liberalism means all power
to economy and none to preservation of natural sources of living.
Privatisation is equal to money-making with water, electricity, traffic etc.
and those having no money can kick the bucket. Deregulation says: "Go
and destroy, whatever was under control before, and increase shareholder
values wherever you can. So, some become rich and the other go down the
drain." These are the instruments of right-wing skunks in present
society.
- What are the forces that govern the
future life in economics? - Answer: Exactly the same we have already today!
Socialist models of thinking tried to change self-destructing models with
greed and unequally distributed wealth and natural values. Those systems must
have broken, since humans are not made for ethics, equity, empathy and equal
rights for all, rights between humans, for animals and for the planet as a
whole. Change philosophical views and you change economics and the world as
such.
- How does economy look like about the year
2050 - after the collapses of all political, economic, ecologic and cultural
systems? - Answer: If we wish to survive another century, we must change
everything: Not governments or dull majorities govern the mechanics on Earth,
but a world's delegation of wise and human men and women will get full power,
will present their plans and views. Not money will make the distinction
between the have-and-have-nots, the rich and poor. Goals or aims of humanity
will dictate all our acts and doings. These maxims will prove to have been
the last possible way out of innumerable impasses.
4. Politics
- What are the prerogatives of today's
political world? - Answer: Today, patriotism and nationalism of states
dictate the functions on our planet. The political situation is marked by
powerful hegemonic nations and their brave vassals. On top the richest
entities have the saying and all other can see where they find a place to
survive. That's optimal stupidity and drives cultures and religions into
terrorist actions and wars all over the lands. The philosophy of omnipotence
of some powerful nations, companies or persons must be stopped and replaced
by equity laws, helping the Earth to recover from all criminal acts forced on
it.
- How will Politics change in the near
future? - Answer: It will hardly change. The mass of population will suffer
more and more of collapses of all kind. NGO, UNO, IWF, WTO and other mafia
organisations will do as if all international problems could be solved
without great effort. In fact, what they want is more power and money,
exactly the matters that will kill all of us. Only after the lesson of
terrible catastrophes, the people (and not governments or organisations) will
grasp what's going on. And then, everybody yells after wise personalities -
if ever possible without seeing revolutions and civil wars.
- Will there be a change in paradigm in
Politics after the foreseen catastrophes? - Answer: As written before, a
change of paradigms will only happen on the basis of new philosophical
reasoning. Collapses may help, but without understanding what's going on, the
mechanics as mentioned in my books "CHAOS", "10 Maxims for
continuation of existence" and "Power x Stupidity =
Self-destruction" will continue destructing our base of living.
- Which are the strategies that should have
been installed and what sort of Politics must be kept up in the future? -
Answer: Haven't we seen all arguments yet? The limits of growth and
feasibility dictated during the whole evolution of Homo sapiens should have
been the highest maxim. In the last 200 years, however, we have done
everything, with the help of money, technique and science, to destroy air,
water, grounds, resources, humanity and cultures on Earth. A peaceful and
wise humanity could have had, but such a world is not recognizable at the
horizon, because powerful forces adopt destructive priorities, based on a
very low reasoning.
5. Ecology
- How could it happen that we are now
standing on the edge of ecologic collapses? - Answer: We have arrived, around
the year 1975, to the "point of no return". There was the edge when
intellectual forces could still have installed mechanics for a
survival-scheme on this planet. We had witnesses: Club of Rome,
youth-revolutions, some intelligent authors with wide horizon and logical
deduction-force, who tried hard to convince editors to open their mind, edit
fundamental books, have articles published in newspapers and other media, in
order to guarantee a change of mind and reasonable developments. The contrary
was achieved - with all results we experience today.
- Which sort of thinking could have
prevented these final catastrophes? - Answer: Philosophers should have
understood, since ever, that we must adapt all our doings to the limits
offered by nature of a small and lonely planet. There are universal laws,
high above our technical and scientific reasoning. All coming ecological
catastrophes and collapses are man-made and could have been prevented with a
timely change of paradigm in thinking.
- How will our world look like after the
foreseen mass-killing in nature? - Answer: A mass-humanity as described in my
text "Orakel 2099" (written about 1975), is something else than we
remember of times, when only few people lived on Earth like in the Middle
Ages. I wrote at that time the following formula: "Power (or mass) x
Stupidity (or technical "wonders" like planes, cars, power stations
etc.) = Self destruction (of the present structure of human mankind). If we
don't stop this mass-insanity, a huge disaster will continue to be produced
with regard to nature, humans, animals, air, water, grounds, resources,
energy - in fact the whole planet - and Homo sapiens will have come to an end
with his days.
- Which sort of options do human mankind
have for a liveable future - in harmony with the fundamental laws of our
planet Earth? - Answer: We have only very few options. We should see soon a
radical reduction of our pretensions, a life in harmony with nature,
economizing reserves of water, resources, energy and - above all - the
quality of air, respect for all sorts of animals, plants and the whole
geo-sphere on Earth. Who believes that the almighty industry,
profit-maximating economics, self-destructing sciences and headless politics
- governed by a culture of self-admiring, will automatically bring us away
from all impasses and human disasters, will have effected a last intellectual
effort for his time - and he will thus help to seal the destiny of Homo
sapiens once for all.
6. Summary
Based on the Study
"Pladesniekant", we will soon guess, how our world will look like,
anywhere in time from 2025 to 2100. We will know (what we assume only these
early days) how our "New and beautiful world" will look tomorrow.
We will also know what kind of disastrous developments will have been born
out of today's miracle-hat. We will learn what it meant - with regard to the
effects on our planet, when the most "developed" species Homo
sapiens tried, for a long period of 2000 years, to play his own God. Have a
closer look: That species decided in all areas of living about an unliveable
future and a destructive destiny for all of us. It could not be different
with THESE instruments of "power x stupidity".
But unfortunately, we used, by the end, our
technological achievements as huge blows of clubs, in trying to govern or
rather plunder our platform Earth. These fundamental politics and
philosophies will prove to have been vital.
B. Possible ways out of Danger:
Hit by the foregoing perspectives, you may,
dear reader, wish to read a few lines about positive ways, how to prevent the
falling in the final trap of human mankind, the Orcus of our vanities. How
should our brains look on the world in future when we wish to make us
recognize why our life-program has collapsed, has eventually generated
robots, willing to believe in simple truths, instead of grasping the true
complexity of our reality.
Thus we may wish to know what maxims should
be recognized to correct our views on the humans' sense for reality:
First Maxim: Not a World governed by money,
greed, destruction of all natural wealth will save humanity. All we need is a
sharp turn to a reduction of all our wishes, needs and consumerism.
Second Maxim: We should build up a
"Zielgesellschaft" (society of aims and goals) instead of a society
of capital, striving for more and more and more goods and money…. ending in
logical collapses of all imaginable kinds.
Third Maxim: Autarky and autonomy are the
words for a liveable future. Not "globalisation", neo-liberalism,
deregulation, socialism, capitalism, consumerism, and all scrap born in the
brains of a species that did never see its limits - and therefore has
developed insane systems of living in the last 100 years.
Fourth Maxim: "Reduce to the
max". Reduce the world population from seven and more billions to below
two billions. Otherwise, the world will be done by
"mass-phenomenon" - even before our coming generations, our youth,
will have reached the year 2100.
Fifth Maxim: Eliminate or reduce all
destructing technologies, like cars, planes, power stations, by totally
changing human's style of living. For living well, there is no vital need for
surpassing immense distances with high speed. Real life-quality should be:
Clean air and water, food, space, natural land, quietness, fundamental needs
for living - like cloths, shelter, housing, sun, culture and free times for
useful doings.
Sixth Maxim: Nourishment should mainly be
produced where you live, like all the rest too (autarky). Transportation of
goods over thousands of miles is one of the highest stupidities of the
humans. We can have all we need to survive without this splendid circus of
technology, by adopting a reasonable system of supply - without destroying
our planet.
Seventh Maxim: Forget all capital
resources: Money, shares, treasury bonds, bank accounts, financing and
derivative instruments. We don't need money producing gigantesk towers of debts
that will tumble on all nations, banks and stock exchanges, in the long run.
We need planning how to survive as a species, with least possible
self-destruction.
Eights Maxim: We should live in symbiosis
with animals, nature, air, soil, water - the whole richness of our planet,
the sole possible platform of living for Homo sapiens. If we forget about
this basic and not replaceable principle, we will soon be lost for all times.
Ninth Maxim: Nothing will and can better
without a fundamental change of thinking, a new philosophy, understood by
each person on this globe. Yes, we need a change of paradigm in philosophy,
psychology and science in order to guarantee the survival of our species.
Tenth Maxim: Should the daily reality of
living not be able to adopt these maxims in his mind, the humans can forget
about a future for any generations to come. In fact, today, we are already
lost, definitely and for good. Since about the year 1975, the "point of
no return" has been ignored by a mental mass-phenomenon and has produced
the results we can see at the beginning of the 21st century, with regard to
the effects of a criminal behaviour towards the sole base of living, a
potentially beautiful paradise, the human's platform Earth.
That's all folks, for this very day. This
writing is absolutely useless and whoever prints it, might not really believe
in these few and summarizing lines. Some forums will chat a little, but the
wave that will send us down the orcus, within the next 50 years, will silence
forever all useless gossip - and the author of these lines will be dead by
that time. What a nice perspective for a modern philosopher and his shouting
in the wind!
